The following guidelines apply to marketing and public relations personnel representing exhibitors at the 2021 AUA Annual Meeting.
All exhibitors are required to abide by the AUA's embargo policies for the Annual Meeting. Coverage of research being presented (which includes abstracts published online at www.AUA2021.org and/or in the 2021 Annual Meeting Abstract book, a supplement to the August 2021 issue of The Journal of Urology®) is prohibited before the date and time of presentation. Third-Party Press Release Guidelines
- Clearly state embargo date and time, as well as, abstract number and presentation information (date, time, presenter) in release header.
- "AUA" or "American Urological Association" in the dateline or lede is not permitted. A secondary mention of the AUA is acceptable, but subject to review prior to dissemination. The AUA reserves the right to remove literature deemed unacceptable.
- Clearly indicate the name of industry sponsors and financial supporters.
- Use of the AUA logo or Annual Meeting logo is not permitted.
Only third-party press materials relating to research being presented at the current Annual Meeting will be permitted in the AUA Press Suite. Institutional, corporate or promotional materials not relating to research will be refused. All materials will be reviewed before being disseminated and displayed as non-AUA literature.
